In light of the recent ban issued by the Delhi High Court on Asus’ usage of the ZenFone branding in India, the Taiwanese company has now given an official statement regarding the situation. The company states that  “The ASUS legal team is currently working with the Delhi High Court in India to resolve the Zen Mobiles and ZenFone trademark lawsuit. The supply of ASUS smartphones, notebooks and other products, as well as technical support and after-sales service for all ASUS products remain unchanged for all consumers.” The trademark issue arose when Indian smartphone brand, Telecare Network filed a complaint claiming that Asus’ usage of the ZenFone branding infringed on the company’s ‘Zen Mobiles’ branding that it has used since 2008. Asus’s latest flagship, the Snapdragon 845-powered  Zenfone 5Z , has a highly competitive price point of just Rs. 29,999. The Asus  ZenFone 5z  will finally go on sale at midnight tonight on Flipkart, and it’s expected to compete with the highly successful OnePlus 6 thanks to the similar specs, camera and notched display, but at a much lower price. The phone is priced at  Rs 29,999 onwards  with the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version as the base option. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at RS. 32,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at Rs 36,999. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a  6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 . The screen boasts of a brightness of up to 550nits with the Super IPS+ display. It also features the notch like the OnePlus 6.
