After launching its flagship X21 with an under-display fingerprint scanner, Vivo has launched a new device in the budget segment. The Vivo Y83 follows the trend of fuller displays and is probably the most affordable smartphone in India with a notch with a price of Rs. 14,990. The device features a 6.22-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 with a cut-out notch for the earpiece, front-facing camera, and sensors. The screen sports a resolution of HD+ (1520×720) which could be a dealbreaker for many users despite the lovely aesthetics.The Vivo Y83 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with a 4GB of RAM. The processor is capable of AI applications and should optimize performance to suit the needs of users. Buyers get a storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
