After launching its flagship  X21 with an under-display fingerprint  scanner, Vivo has launched a new device in the budget segment. The Vivo Y83 follows the trend of fuller displays and is probably the  most affordable smartphone in India with a notch  with a price of Rs. 14,990. The device features a 6.22-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 with a cut-out notch for the earpiece, front-facing camera, and sensors. The screen sports a resolution of HD+ (1520×720) which could be a dealbreaker for many users despite the lovely aesthetics.The Vivo Y83 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with a 4GB of RAM. With the Realme 1, Oppo is experimenting with a new strategy to grab a bigger hold of the budget mid-range smartphone market, which is dominated by Xiaomi and Honor. With BlackBerry KEY2’s release just around the corner, the company has released a new teaser video that gives us our first official look at the device. Earlier this month, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo started sending out  press invites  for a launch event scheduled for May 29. While the invite didn’t explicitly mention which device would be launched, the large X with a fingerprint in the center suggested it would be the Vivo X21 UD, the first phone with an under-display fingerprint scanner to come to India. Just a few days ahead of the launch, the company has now officially opened pre-bookings for the Vivo X21 UD on its  online store .
